Reservations Terms and Conditions

Reservation:

  • A deposit of RM 100 per person is required for all reservations.  Deposit amount will be deducted from the total bill. 
  • In the event of cancellation of less than 24 hours before the reservation time or no show, Kintsugi reserves the right to forfeit the deposit. 
  • If cancellation please be informed that a 5% processing fee will be charged for refunds of deposits.
  • For groups of over 8 guests please call us directly at +6010-381 1330 to arrange a reservation.

  • Omakase Counter
  • Private Rooms

Omakase Counter

  • Being an intimate 12-seater counter, seats availability will be based on first-come-first-served basis. Kindly indicate your seating preference when reserving and we will try to accommodate based on availability. 

Private Dining Room 

  • Our private dining rooms are ideal for 4 to 8 guests.  Use of our rooms are subject to a minimum spend commitment and availability.  Please contact us directly at +6010-381 1330 to arrange a reservation.

Deposit and cancellation

  • In the event of cancellation less than 24 hours before the reservation time or no show, Kintsugi reserves the right to forfeit your deposit. 
  • If cancellation please be informed that a 5% processing fee will be charged for refunds of deposits.
  • Covid-19 Cancelation Policy: As an effort to eliminate food wastage, if you have been in close contact with an infected person, please inform us in advance. Cancellations within the 24-hour last minute cancellation period due to covid constitutes as a last-minute cancellation would be liable to cancellation charges.
  • By submitting a reservation, you agree to the terms and conditions set out by the Cancellation Policy.

Dine-In

  • Our lunch and dinner courses will take at least 60 minutes to 120 minutes or more dining time. 
  • Kindly acknowledge any dietary restrictions in the party when reserving. We may be able to cater to some restrictions given advance notice of 72 hours.
  • We will be holding your table for 15 minutes upon acknowledgement by call. Please note that arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in Kintsugi having to adapt your experience due to time constraints. We recommend allowing at least 60  minutes for your meal with us.

Dress Code

  • Our dress code is smart casual though we recommend dressing up for the occasion. Gentlemen, please refrain from wearing shorts, singlets, and flip flops.

Children

  • Young guests are welcome and will receive the same tasting menu as their accompanied adult. However, we are unable to accept children below 12 years old and babies as it is not a suitable environment. We do not have child friendly menu or facilities and we wish to respect all of our diners’ experience.

  • Confirmation of booking the restaurant is subject to availability and upon collecting of a deposit.
FAQ

We only serve Kaiseki Omakase and Sushi Omakase. These Tasting Menus are charged per pax. We only serve lunch menus during lunch and dinner menus during dinner. Our dining experience will take at least 60 minutes to 120 minutes or more dining time.

Our menu changes on a daily basis depending on the season and ingredient availability. This stays true to the idea of the omakase menu where the diner entrusts the chef to present his or her best dishes of the day.

We are closed every Monday and selected public holidays. 

 

Lunch: 11:00am – 3:00pm

Dinner: 5:30pm – 11:00pm

Cancellations for confirmed bookings must be done 24 hours before the dining date/time by email or phone. The restaurant reserves the right to forfeit your deposit for last minute cancellations or no shows.

We will be holding your table for 15 minutes upon acknowledgement by call. Please note that arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in Kintsugi having to adapt your experience due to time constraints. We recommend allowing at least 60  minutes for your meal with us.

Our private room dining is ideal for 4 to 8 guests.  Use of our rooms are subject to a minimum spend commitment and availability. The rooms are available for a minimum commitment of RM 1,500 nett – RM 3,000 nett.  For reservations, please contact us at +6010-381 1330 for arrangements.

Kindly acknowledge any dietary restrictions in the party when reserving. We will, of course, do our best to cater for anyone with special dietary requirements, with at least 72 hours notice. 

We offer carefully selected and curated wine and sake for your enjoyment. Naturally, you are welcome to bring your own alcohol, please find the applicable corkage fees below:

Wine, Sake: RM 100 per 750ml bottle
Champagne: RM 100 per 750ml bottle
Spirits: RM 150 per 750ml bottle

Large format bottles will be charged according to their volume.

You are welcome to bring your own celebration cake, however, please check with us in advance so we can try to allocate adequate storage in our fridge. Please be advised that we cannot guarantee to have fridge space available for all cakes.

Parking & Valet Service:

We advised our self-driving guests to park your vehicle at ZONE U OR PREMIER ZONE.  Exits  in these zones remain open 24 hours.

For valet parking, guests may use the service for a fee offered by St Giles Gardens Hotel & Residences. The hotel is connected to The Gardens Mall.

For a fun night out, you may use any e-hailing service of your choice and get dropped off or picked up at either the River Entrance of The Gardens Mall.
